Working on flash Cs4 was the most challenging yet rewarding experiences I encountered while working on this assignment. The main purpose for assignment is to create a short animated gif using adobe flash. While using adobe flash for the first time, I was a little intimidated by its odd interface and gadgets which are foreign to me, because it was my first time using flash. With a little guidance from Jason, I had managed to get to know some basic functions and simple procedures in order to create a short animated gif. The gif below is my first attempt of using flash. (Click the gif below to see it move!)
Meg Moving Arm.
Process # 1
This is an
image of Meg, from family guy. I had found this image on Google, and had selected
this image because this image seems like a great image to begin with.
These are
the body parts that I used in order to make Meg move. I had used Photoshop to help me cut out the parts that I had wanted to move like the:
Left Arm Head Right Arm
Body
Quagmires Encounters Julian
Process # 2
This is an image
of quagmire that I had found on Google. I had decided to use quagmire for my
second attempt of using flash, because the process would be easier to do and also that the aspect of making quagmire to bob his, would be hilarious. while a girl like Jillian is
standing in front or behind him.
This is an image of Jillian that I had used for this gif. I had basicly removed erased everything except jillian, by using the magic wand tool, and then removed the selected thing that I had selected like the background. The idea of adding jullian in this gif first started after finishing animating quagmire. I decided to add jullian in this picture, in order to fill up the empty spaces.

Bonus!!!!!! Gif
This was my first attempt of filling in the empty spaces. This gif was created before I had added jullian in it. The girl in the left was inspired by quagmires interest of woman, the Asian reporter, from family guy, and also a role quagmire had played in the star wars parody, which he had played C-3PO. The drawing on the left is supposed to be an female/Asian/robot.
Out of all the assignments that was given, this assignment is my most favourite assignment that I had worked on, because it had not only involve my growing interest of animation, but it also combine a all new experience and techniques for me by using a new software that is so foreign to me. In conclusion I had a great experience on working on flash for making a small animated gif, and would love to continue to use this program for future projects and assignments.
